This morning I communed with the ancestors on my porch and sang. A male cardinal sat on the branch infront of me. Afterwords I went out to do laundry. I came up on a salamander sun bathing on my steps. Waiting for close to dry I went to the river. After doing my forest walk, prayers and song; I walked up on a turquoise Alligator Gar. (Ive never seen one before in the wild) The fins were translucent white with black spots. It studied its environment looked at me and kept wading in it the water. After a few minutes it swam out of view and came back minutes later. I kept singing and got in the water to find two more were near buy.
